Studying the respiratory and excretory system

3ºESO has studied the anatomy of the kidneys (from pigs) and respiratory system and part of the digestive system (from lambs) This has been an interesting practice for most of them.

Weeks ago we studied the heart (I didn't take pictures) and it was very helpful for understanding the situation of the great vessels and circulation of blood.

2º CONCURSO DE FOTOGRAFÍA DEL Dto de BIOLOGÍA

Por segundo año consecutivo hemos celebrado un concurso de fotografía en el Departamento. Todas las fotos son de los alrededores del río en el Centro de Iniciativas Ambientales de Almenar de Tormes.
No ha sido fácil elegir ganadores, ya que no sólo ha habido una gran participación (mas de 80), además hay muchas muy bonitas y de gran calidad artística.

Invertebrates practice

1ºESO have been working with the invertebrates: sponges, cnidarians, echinoderms, arthropods.....
We have learned a lot of details, differences between them....

Visita al Centro de Iniciativas Ambientales en Almenara del Tormes

Como el año pasado, hemos vistado el Centro de Almenara
Los monitores, que son magníficos, nos enseñaron a tirar con arco, hacer saquitos de hierbas aromáticas y aprendimos a interpretar las huellas de los animales, además de expliacrnos los ecosuistemas de ribera en el Museo del centro y los recursos del río en un paseo entre el río y la laguna.
No hizo mucho sol, pero nos nos llovió y lo pasamos francamente bien.

Aprendizaje basado en servicios.

El 19 de abril devolvimos la visita a las señoras del barrio.
